ADDITIONAL 13 WEEKS OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS?

WILL I AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE THE ADDITIONAL 13 WEEKS OF UNEMPLOYMENT?.  Click here to see line item 11 on the Hawaii.gov Covid19 Post Filing Info.

HERE IS WHAT IT SAYS: If you are unemployed for more than 26 weeks, you may be eligible for the additional 13 weeks of benefits which are available until December 31, 2020. Instructions on how to apply for the 13 additional weeks can be found on your HUI Claims account.

On your HUI Claims account look for PANDEMIC EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION (PEUC). PEUC is a temporary program that provides up to 13 additional weeks of payments to individuals whose regular unemployment claim has exhausted (balance = 0) or expired on or after July 1, 2019. They provide a link on that page where you can apply for PEUC.
