Henry Kapono

Henry Kapono Ka'aihue is an award winning and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. He has taken home numerous Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards (Hawaii's equivalent of the Grammys) including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year. He is also the author of the award winning children's book, A Beautiful Hawaiian Day, has appeared in the films, Damien and Waterworld and has made many television appearances. Known as "Kapono", the Hawaiian word for righteous, Henry was christened "Henry Kapono Hosea Ka'aihue" and is a pure Hawaiian, born and raised in Kapahulu, a small town located just outside Waikiki, Hawaii. |

Jeff Apaka and the Hawaiian Village Serenaders

The son of legendary Hawaii singer Alfred Apaka, Jeff Apaka is a mainstay in Hawaii’s music scene and continues to entertain by recreating the romantic hapa haole music his father made famous the world over. Jeff began his professional career at 19 years old, performing at the then Sheraton Hawaii Hotel. He went on to tour the mainland and record an album under the Capitol Records label before returning to Hawaii to perform at virtually every premier showroom in Waikiki – including three years at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Garden Bar. Jeff’s return to the Hilton Hawaiian Village last year is marked by his refined and evolved repertoire of entertainment encompassing materials from classic Broadway and Hawai’i ballads. All in all, it is easy to expect that Jeff Apaka’s glorious romantic baritone voice and his ability to keep the audience amused and entertained will continue to manifest itself. |

This exciting Na Hoku Hanohano Award winning band’s style leans toward contemporary Hawaiian music and island reggae with a fresh new sound. Typical Hawaiians is a young and charismatic group that has been in Hawaii’s music scene since 1996 and is the second band to ever receive Hawaii’s highest award for music created within the reggae genre. Their ability to enhance and embellish music has taken them to locations around the world including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Tahiti, Europe and the Mainland. |

Formerly of the popular local group, Ho’onu’a, lead singers Christian Yrizarry and Jared Keo continue to entertain with the sounds of reggae beach music and contemporary Hawaiian as Beach 5. Their debut, self-title album, Beach 5 released in December 2008 and instantly garnered praise from peers and the public alike. This local duo is sure to entice with their sweet harmony and savvy musical chemistry. |

Hawai'i based singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer, Jon Basebase has been recognized as a premier wedding and event entertainer since 1987. He has performed throughout Hawai'i, the U.S. Mainland and Japan. His hit-single "Suddenly" was one of the first songs in Hawai'i to crossover from local radio playlists to mainstream radio and garnered him a Na Hoku Hanohano nomination for "Most Promising Artist". |

“Little” Albert and Eddie

Eddie at age 4 1/2, Albert at 7, brothers Tony 11, Jr 16 and their father started a musical group "The Rocky Fellers" in Hong Kong. The Rocky Fellers opened shows for famous artists like Sammy Davis Jr, Carroll Channing, Bob Hope, and Jerry Lewis just to mention a few. Little Albert went on to join "The Society of Seven," a very popular show band at the famous Outrigger "Showroom" in Waikiki Hawaii. Eddie also played bass and drums for famous Hawaiian entertainers like Don Ho and Nohelani Cypriano. Little Albert was recently inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. |

Piranha Brothers

The Piranha Brothers Band was formed in 1977 by Michael Piranha and Tom Piranha. Presenting their music in a deft blend of classic rock and funk, sparkling originals, and up-to-the-minute rock hits, they stand alone in their ability to reach almost any audience member with a sincere shot of that person's own favorite type of music. Winners of the Hawaii Music Awards’ Best Rock Artist award, they are joined by Stephen Inglis, David Watanabe, and Jason Nobriga on guitars, all renowned local talents. |
