More than 60 species of exotic birds, waterfowl, turtles and fish make their home at Hilton Hawaiian Village®... even penguins! Each weekday, enjoy watching the wildlife feedings (between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again at 3 p.m.) See complete details below.

Some of the varieties of exotic birds you will find include: the African Red-Winged Flamingo, Sacred Ibis, Ringed Neck Parakeets, Yellow-Crowned Amazon, Scarlet Macaw and Black-Footed Penguins. The colorful fish in our many ponds are koi (carp), bred in Japan for their beautiful colors and striking patterns.

The Gardens of the Village
With 22 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the Hilton Hawaiian Village® offers a unique resort experience for those who enjoy the natural beauty of flora. The Village grounds showcase over 50 varieties of flora indigenous to Hawaii and from regions around the world such as Fiji, Australia, Tropical Asia, Brazil, China, Africa and other exotic locations. Our gardens offer a nice complement the many botanical garden tours that are offered throughout Oahu.

Museum-Quality Art Collection
Enjoy a stroll throughout the resort and you will discover exceptional art exhibits by some of Hawaii's most prestigious artists including John Young, Hiroshi Tagami, Michael Powell, Herb Kane, James Hoyle, Luigi Fumagalli, Daniel Van Zyle, Dale Evers and many others.

We also feature the renowned sculptor, Kim Duffett, who created the life-size bronze statue of 'Iolani Luahine, the legendary hula dancer. She was regarded as being a mystic and priestess of the sacred rite of hula. Another distinguished piece by Kim Duffett is the sculpture of Alfred Aholo Apaka, who introduced Hawaii's music to world-wide audiences. You will find both of these celebrated works of art in the concourse next to the Tapa Tower.
